People keep saying “Israeli is so culturally Arab” to (1) anything stupid and belligerent, because haha safe edgy racism (2) things that are obviously more Balkan and Central European coded.
it's hard to take euro/american colonization takes seriously when Israel is so obviously culturally Arab aligned

More crybaby fascist propaganda. I'd like to see a movie that shows insurgents rigging IEDs against GIs.
The "Call of Duty" movie based on "Modern Warfare" will not feel like a superhero film because the story is about "the cost of war and having to be a warrior." “If you really look at the missions and the storylines and the characters like Captain Price, Soap, Ghost and Alex, these are complicated humans. These are not, and no disrespect, cartoon characters or comic books," says director Peter Berg. "These are very nuanced storylines; there’s a real soul to the ‘Modern Warfare’ universe. Yes, there’s violence and hardware and equipment and killing. But underneath it, I think the game, and the creators of the game, are really looking at the cost of war, the cost of having to be a warrior who’s, for whatever reason, chosen to put himself between real danger and the rest of us, and the burden that these guys carry.” variety.com/2026/film/news/c…

If Ra’am does play a kingmaker role, will we see UAE propaganda lambast Israel as a Muslim Brotherhood terrorist state?

Böyle vatansız, şerefsiz alçaklar bunlar. Kazansaydı ülkesini satacaktı, kaybedince sahibine koşup kulübesine girmiş.

The demographic inevitability of Israel’s transformation from this gimmicky hi-tech, high prosperity country to essentially Jewish Jordan (increasing domination of Knesset by Arab & Haredi welfare-ist parties) is good because look guys, we have the spectacle of ballot boxes!!!
it's easy to gloss over how rare it is, but it's beautiful to see millions of jews and arabs freely flooding the ballot box alike in a region where theocracy and despotism is the order of the day. israel is deeply flawed, but it's the only real democracy in the middle east

If I cared even slightly about Israel’s prospects I’d be frantically begging for the establishment of a military-judicial tutelage system even more politically constraining than the worst of Turkey’s 1980s era
