Russia has answered Kazakhstan's proposal to bring Russia into the Turkic world's main bloc. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia has not yet received an official invitation, but considers participation in the Organization of Turkic States expedient. The proposal came from Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who suggested Russia join the OTS as a member or observer, in a new OTS+ format.
