STORY OF THE SONG: People rarely ask me “how do you make your records?” But that doesn’t stop me telling you. This is the development of the Red River Hog single ‘Don’t. Give Up’ from the first mumblings into a phone just after Xmas 2023 to the full-on banger it became. 1/2

A three year journey in which the song was repeatedly earmarked for the scrapheap. James Harvey at Studio 8830 used his production and mixing skills to give it an extra bit of magic - turning it into the first single from our upcoming ‘Can’t Stand Your Band’ mini album. 2/2

THIS WEEK IN RED RIVER HOG: James uses the power of music to create a deadly weapon at Studio 8830. Bets are now being taken on exactly when he will use that weapon on me.
