Big Tech’s AI spending cycle keeps accelerating, despite current fears! 👀
$MSFT: Azure Q2 growth guidance of 49–50% in constant currency. Demand still exceeds supply, with some third-party GPU contracts delayed to the second half.
$GOOGL: Cloud revenue grew 103%. Supply constraints are pushing it toward third-party compute, weighing on near-term Cloud margins.
$AMZN: AWS grew 39.3%, with a $578B backlog. Management expects growth above 40% in both 2027 and 2028.
$META: Still shaping its 2027 plans, but expects to “continue investing aggressively.” Serving costs could rise as its Muse AI agent scales.

$NBIS +6.96%, yet fell initially on Microsoft's capex timing concerns.
This may be an unpopular take, but capital access is the real dividing line in infrastructure.
Nebius secured $3.5 billion from Citi on top of a $775 million facility.
Gartner projects AI-optimized IaaS spending at around $66 billion in 2027.
The constraint is not demand, it's execution capacity and secured balance sheets.

$MSFT cut its 2026 capex guidance to $170 billion from $175 billion, citing delays in third-party data center capacity.
Cloud revenue hit $63.9 billion with 30% growth. OpenAI generated $10 billion in quarterly revenue.
The capex cut reflects timing of third-party buildout, not weakening demand. Capital-backed infrastructure players like Nebius, which just secured $3.5 billion from Citi, will accelerate orders when delays clear.
$NVDA & $ORCL
Two things happened today that I think belong in the same sentence.
Nvidia announced a $3 billion investment in Meta's equity offering. AMD put in $1 billion separately. Then Oracle expanded its Nvidia deal to multi-gigawatt scale while also adding Google TPUs and Cerebras to OCI.
The largest customers are diversifying suppliers, and Nvidia is responding by becoming a shareholder in the customers. I don't think that's a coincidence.
NVDA closed at $217.94, around 10% below its 52-week high of $243.37.
