Vipin Das and Basil Gershome are the frontrunners for #NP52, a confirmation is expected next month.
Other actors fans are complaining and frustrated over promotions & marketing of their favorite actors movies, while the only decently promoted movie we got is Kayamkulam Kochunni & BKU in our favorite actor's entire career.
Holding & hoping still...

As a fan, my perspective and my wish for the career trajectory he should take going forward is that he should do more movies that cater more to the youth audience. Like, by doing some action comedy entertainers or big canvas entertainers that blend every commercial formula.

My take on the current status of #Mammootty, #Mohanlal, #PrithvirajSukumaran, #NivinPauly, #DulquerSalmaan & #PranavMohanlal.
1) Mammootty – He is in the right phase, in my opinion. Suspend the fan wars; his choices are what matter. If he falls into the 100 crore trap that is being used against him, trust me, it could spell doom, much like the pan-India mania that affected several South Indian actors, including our own Mohanlal.
2) Mohanlal – I genuinely wish to see a movie that explores the actor in him in a different way. After hearing Akhil Anilkumar (Thalavara) talk about creating a character that is completely new for Mohanlal, it sounds far more exciting to the fan in me than another round of mass entertainers. That's precisely why I am looking forward to his new associations, despite the #MalaikkottaiVaalibhan fiasco. The last time I saw Mohanlal explore a different acting zone was in Pranayam (not even Spirit).
3) Prithviraj Sukumaran – Tone down the promotions and let the work speak louder than the film's pre-release hype. This might sound rude, but lately, his films haven't lived up to his words, and that disconnect is reflected at the box office, particularly in the initial collections. It's high time he came up with something along the lines of Memories or Ayaalum Njaanum Thammil or even something soft like Koode. Alternatively, he could make a strong comeback with #L3Azrael, hopefully giving us more of Mohanlal this time, and conclude the trilogy before Mohanlal turns 70.
4) Nivin Pauly – I believe he has realized his sweet spot and identified the genres that work for him. But his biggest challenge is how long he can continue playing the boy-next-door, especially as he moves through his 40s. Perhaps recognizing this, earlier he experimented with different kinds of films, only to end up with some massive failures. With films by Akhil Sathyan and Vineeth Sreenivasan in the pipeline, his trajectory seems more or less the same for now.
5) Dulquer Salmaan – More Malayalam movies! The long gap between Malayalam releases is one of the key reasons why #IamGame failed to register a strong opening. Even his fans in Kerala seem to have realized this. Don't take your Kerala fan base for granted. The immediate priority should be a small, boy next door film that helps reconnect with your home audience. Another big-budget outing isn't necessarily the solution.
6) Pranav Mohanlal – Error... Resolution Not Found... Resolution Not Required... Resolution Don't Care. 😄
So he should consistently deliver what works more for youth so that will eventually bonus him a bigger loyal audience support that gets him to grow bigger and keep himself in the biggest spot.
