Get your ab and sprint work all in one game. Just joshing. But it was a great reactivity, accel, sprint from disadvantageous position type game with a little fun sprinkled in. We did some incline bench afterwards. Nice little Tuesday up in here. Until next time, doggies.

✅Quick setup ✅large groups ✅acceleration work ✅Fun. Probably stole this one from @Tyry202 at some point. #cedarcreststrong 💪
If it’s free it’s for me. Use your surroundings to come up with sprint variations. It can be fun and still be quality work if you let it. Until next time, doggies.
One partner crawls under a Bridge or Table Topped partner. Two broad jumps. Switch roles. Repeat from one baseline back to the starting baseline. Head to the weight room and then move some weight on Sumo Deadlift. Until next time, doggies.
Get you a cone. Line ‘em up. Compete. Accelerate. Decelerate. Change directions. Snatch that cone. Rinse. Lather. Repeat. Until next time, doggies.
Rhythm. Coordination. Probably some other cool things happening too. Great add in for our warm ups. Could do different variations as well. Gets their left brain working a little. It also got some laughs in the process. Until next time, doggies.

Coach @Tyry202 says feeding the dawgs! Love it. @CoachDonoho
Get a grocery bag and get to work. I’m sure there are many other variations a creative person could come up with, but these are 3 that we do in my program. Great warm up tools that break up the monotony of the boring stuff. Until next time, doggies.
Lasers and timers are great tools. But you don't need one to get max intent sprint work. Put a kid in front of them to chase, or behind them trying to catch them, and watch what happens. I'm working on something to organize all the variations we do. Until next time, doggies.

Until it’s not.
Games with low demand.
Low minute/reserve players.
Practices that don’t condition.
Conditioning can build general & transferable qualities.
Not different than why they need strength training beyond the game.
There are both bad AND good conditioning programs

The Canes were fed.
Don’t forget hormonal response to exercise when we have the conditioning conversation!
3reps each:
DB Jump
MB slam
Bench jump
EZ Curl
Push press
1 set every 70s for 10 sets.
As fast as possible and rest the remaining time.
Staying on pace with @KlerosSci
Gallops for height are one of the best ways to teach coordination. Every gallop, skip, and hop is your brain rehearsing coordination before we ever ask for output. You warm up to hammer movement patterns so coordination is second nature. Until next time, doggies.
New Year. New Rubric. Less is more. What can I cut out and still operate at a high level. Condensed this to 3 daily points. I'm sure there are holes in it, but I think it'll help with the mental and decision fatigue of handing out grades this year. Until next time, doggies.
