I’ve had a fantastic time today, being welcomed in by our @TytheringtonSch Year 11 Food BTEC class and then being able to sample burgers and party food that they’ve made to practice their skills. It was delicious!
I’m just taking a load of cardboard boxes down to the recycling bins that have all been emptied by our Year 10 students collecting blank flashcards to use for their mock exam revision…That’s 20,000 flashcards collected for use by them! #BeingTheBestTheyCanBe

Our Bronze Expeditioners are all complete and our Silver Expeditioners enjoyed some patches of blue sky today! Well done to all for completing this weekend!
Our Bronze Exped groups are getting ready to depart for their second day. Checking maps and preparing their bags.
Day 2 of the Silver Qualifying Expedition and the #resilience being shown is massive in the conditions being experienced. Camping in Edale this evening and journeying to Hayfield to finish tomorrow.
It’s been a wet one but our Silver DofE groups are at the campsite after their first day of walking 16km… Really well done to them in this weather! Day 1 of 3 done!
A fantastic turnout on the dance floor for Mr Brightside #Anthem
Well done Class of 2023, you’ve been awesome!
Thanks to Mrs Rockett for making the Year 11 Prom 2023 happen!
Enjoying the Year 11 Final Assembly! The exam schedule didn’t allow it to be after a major exam, but great to see all that have come back on their Thursday morning for it!
Fantastic turnout to the An Inspector Calls revision session for our Year 10s, ahead of their Mock Exams… two full rooms!

Owing to the hot weather that we’re experiencing, we will adopt the option to wear school PE Kit in place of normal uniform in the w/b 12th June.

Tremendous way to end the half-term. Congratulations to the U15 Boys Cricket team who advance to the next round of the Cheshire Cup with a close win against King’s.
A magnificent performance in the U15’s Cheshire Cup. Kings Macclesfield scored 95/10 off their 20 overs. We knocked them off for the loss of 7 wickets with Bobby Reid hitting two off the final ball of the innings for victory. #ExtraCurricular #Cricket 🏏
