I really don't know how much clearer Edge could be about his faith in the future of @U2. But because some fans are still doubtful, I'm going to share quotes that didn't make the @Telegraph article, clarifying why Bono, Edge & Adam are playing Vegas without Larry (thread...)

U2 Live In Vegas... old and outdated or innovative yet again? I surmise! As heard on BBC Radio Ulster at 4.50... stocki.typepad.com/soulsurmi…

Bono: "Doing the audio book was fucking brilliant. I loved it. Not the reading which took ages, but working with the producer Scott Sherratt to put in the musical elements and transform these 2-d pages into surround sound soundscapes. That was fun." #Bono hotpress.com/music/bono-this…

I'm no artist, but I do love to doodle. Especially mandalas. Very therapeutic. Here are my mandoodle thoughts (frontmandoodle thoughts?), memories from Los Angeles on Sunday night at the Orpheum. #SurrenderMemoir #Bono – at Fresno, CA

I have a brief reactionary video as we exited the Orpheum for Bono’s #SurrenderMemoir last night. It’ll be up later today on the @U2Conference site.
It’s not #periscope but I found my heart again in that #U2CB space.

In The Name of .. a Band.
I have long known that Mr B was not enamoured by the name, but like most band names, they are indelibly U2 now.
The name ‘U2’ has more in common with batteries, tape decks and spy planes, than a pun.
It was really only about one name; U2
