Utah has officially brought felony charges against Kalshi and its two co-founders, Tarek Mansour and Luana Lopes Lara.
The company and its cofounders are facing one count of pattern of unlawful activity, a second-degree felony; 12 counts of online gambling promotion, a third-degree felony; and one count of general gambling promotion, a Class A misdemeanor.

For those wondering, #UCF can appeal the Big 12's $100K fine for derogatory chants against BYU if it chooses.
It's similar to when Kansas State and Iowa State appealed their fine for opting out of bowl games last season. The league reduced both fines.

South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff and Japan’s Defense Ministry report North Korea launched around 10-12 short-range ballistic missiles from the Wonsan area at ~12:30 p.m. local time today. They flew ~250 km into the Sea of Japan (East Sea) and fell outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone. No damage or impact on Japanese territory reported.
