From ASU (my alma mater) to the UC, not only have police used excessive force against peaceful protestors, but they have stood idly by and allowed Zionist mobs to attack the protestors with mace, fireworks, and gas canisters. The UC administration must be held responsible.

Dozens of my coworkers and I were physically attacked and maced by outside agitators while the university stood idly by. This escalation will not stand—our union will take swift and decisive action.

I am thrilled to announce that I will be running for Head Steward at UC Davis with the cross-unit, statewide Union MADE slate! I am excited to push for a participatory, democratic, and member-driven union!

Proud to announce that I’m running for @uaw_4811 statewide ASE chair with @UCUnionMADE! We’re at a critical moment in the history of our local — newly amalgamated with all academic workers — and an upcoming contract campaign. I’m ready and excited to lead us into that future.

Thrilled to be running alongside one of the best and most committed organizers I know to lead @uaw_4811! 🫡

Here are the current structures of our local + @uaw2865 , and what the potential amalgamated locals would look like. (5/6)

What is amalgamation? Amalgamation means that the two UC academic worker Locals (5810 and @uaw2865 ) would come together to form one local union. Members from both 2865 and 5810 will vote on wether or not to amalgamate from October 10th-20th. 🧵(1/6)

honored and delighted to have been elected to head steward by the academic workers at UC Berkeley. the most powerful days of our union are ahead of us!
It’s official—UAW 2865 is Union MADE! Members of our slate swept nearly every seat across the state in the highest-turnout election in the history of our union. It’s clear an overwhelming majority of our union is behind our positive vision to build a more powerful union.

Ready to get to work. Huge thanks to all of my coworkers who voted in these elections -- now let's get together and show the UC who runs this place.

voted #UCUnionMADE today to secure more inclusive bargaining and a more empowered, democratic union 💅🏼

I am running with the Union MADE slate because we understand that organizing and building power is something that happens over a long period of time. Our candidates organize for this union every day and some of us long before the strike.
UC Union MADE retweeted
I’m centering a vision of deep one-on-one organizing by meeting workers where they are at to build participation and democracy in our union.
Vote for me and #unionMADE if you’d like to help us build this vision. But most importantly vote in your union elections, April 26-27!
