Wondering about the green ribbons on various #UConn trees? They mark the two dozen 'Class Trees' still growing on campus, including this Class of 1905 tree near Great Lawn & Beach Hall. The ribbons will be up until after Commencement; stop and take a look when you see one!
ALT Tallest tree at UConn Storrs is the legacy of a long-ago graduating class: A tulip tree (Liriodendron tulipifera) near Beach Hall and the Great Lawn. Planted by the Class of 1905, it now has a circumference of more than 13 feet.

We're taking action on the state level to do our part. Now is the time for Congress to step up and take action on the federal level to address the climate crisis.
The Alliance’s governors have a simple message for Congress:
Pass a robust legislative package with the climate & clean energy investments & incentives our country needs to confront the climate crisis.
There is no time to waste.
