Joshua Van might be the best an MMA fighter has ever been at 22 years of age. Just unreal how skilled this kid is at only 22, AND only 27 months into his pro MMA career. Sky is the limit, one of the most exciting and promising fighters in MMA right now.

Dan Mirgliotta bends the rules a lot. He told Stefan Struve he was winning the fight during a foul break against Rothwell, he even tried covering his microphone while saying it. He also reffed Daukaus-Holland and let the UFC influence it to make a NC instead of a Daukaus sub.

What happened was Dan Mirgliotta is a coward and didn't want to stop the fight himself
So when he saw the cut, he tried passing the buck to the doctor to stop the fight. The doctor lets it continue and Dan fucks up AGAIN by not giving Pearce the position back.
Horrible ref.
Miragliotta didn't give Pearce the position back after a stoppage due to Elkins' bloodiness #UFCOrlando
Commentary was doing well calling out the horrible refereeing then the producers get in their ear and say "hey stop that, start selling the win for Nolan" and then they say "Nolan is a problem! He did everything right, 6 in a row!"
They almost stood their ground but wimped out
One of the worst refereeing moments in UFC history right there. Dan Miragliotta rewarding the dumbass fans booing a dominant position like a back take. Absolutely disgraceful. He should be fired tonight if the Nevada SAC had any integrity.
Randy Brown was basically playing defense this entire fight. Barely committed to anything at distance, laying on his back in rubber guard lmao, he tried to play it safe and got his ass kicked anyway, didn't ever give himself a chance to win.
Every apex card has 3 women's fights on it, the first 2 are always within the first 3-4 fights of the night then they slap one on the main card. It's a proven formula, proven to suck.
Not sure why the odds have Hope as -3000 or 93% Hope when round 2 was very close and could've gone to Marshall. Could easily be a split here or a Marshall win
Super close round 2, I think Hope hustled more and showed enough urgency in a round that was very even in terms of good shots landed. I lean 1-1, Marshall not doing nearly enough to win safely, he needs to show some aggression in what could be a winner take all rd 3
Julian Erosa has been knocked out in
2015
2016
2017
2018
2019
2021
2022
2023
2026
If he gets knocked out here it will be the first time in his career he's been knocked out twice in a year
Through 6 rounds this fight just feels pedestrian. When was the last time Canelo fought with some urgency and intent behind his actions? He just seems lethargic, old, none of that same aura he had in 2015-2020
Man what are these refs and corners doing. Lisboa was absolutely done mid 2nd round. Yet the corner doesn't even consider stopping it and then the ref makes her eats 77 strikes to the ground in round 3 before finally calling it.
We’re almost in 2027 and every time fightodds releases an opening betting line there are so many morons replying and quote tweeting it saying “OMG FREE MONEY ON FIGHTER X”
Why don’t you fuckin idiots keep your thoughts to yourself and actually bet the line instead?
I get that 10 days doesn’t give much room for options, but cmon man, Waldo vs Johnny Walker? Can you think of 2 fighters on the entire roster that are worse suited for a 5 round fight? First apex heavyweight main event in a long time too. Brutal stuff we’re forced to witnes
I for one, am appalled that a bunch of Brazilian fighters are right wing. I’m shocked, wow I never saw this coming. I can never cheer for one of them again, no that’s not enough, I must wish them pain, anguish, suffering. I only like people who share the exact opinions as me.
Yan-Merab 3 had the most lively crowd in all of the UFC's trips to Abu Dhabi. I can't think of another 5 round war where the crowd was roaring loud for whole 25 min like there was yesterday. You couldn't hear the commentary at some points in rds 3/4/5 when Yan was surging
Knocking out 2 former champs in Leon and JDM vs knocking out Sean Brady…
Morales and Prates shouldn’t even be in the same fuckin stratosphere right now
Islam is a pussy man, will never understand how anyone is a fan of that guy. What a boring and uninteresting career he’s had
This is a great angle to the fight
A hyper active, cigarette smoking, guy who likes to party and kill people on the feet vs an inactive, sober, devout religious wrestler. They couldn’t be more opposite. Go Prates
In a trilogy where we saw both fighters win dominant decisions, the 3rd fight ends up being the closest and most incredible fight of all. Yan was as high as +500 underdog in round 3 before flipping the fight to dominate the final 12-13 minutes of the fight to win 48-47
