UJ hosts inaugural Jiangsu-Africa University Cooperation Alliance Summit The University of Johannesburg (UJ) hosted the inaugural Jiangsu-Africa University Cooperation Alliance Summit, bringing together university leaders, researchers and international partners from Africa and China to strengthen collaboration in higher education. Held under the theme “Sino-Africa Higher Education Partnerships for the Future: Jointly Advancing Research, Teaching, Learning and Innovation,” the summit explored opportunities to advance research, innovation, sustainable development and knowledge exchange through meaningful international partnerships. The programme also highlighted UJ’s commitment to societal impact, with visiting delegates touring the DFC Campus to learn about the work of the Rescue Simulation Centre and the Department of Optometry. The summit reaffirmed the importance of building enduring partnerships that go beyond institutional agreements to create opportunities, transform lives and contribute to a more sustainable future. #ProudlyUJ #UJGlobal #SinoAfrica #SocietalImpact
