Police Officer: Excuse me, stop right there. I need to search your bag.
Black Boy: Why, officer? Did I do something wrong?
Police Officer: You look suspicious. Open your bag.
Black Boy: Suspicious in what way? I’m just walking home.
Police Officer: Are you going to cooperate, or do you want to make this difficult?
Black Boy: I’m not trying to make anything difficult. I just want to know why you’re stopping me.
Police Officer: Because I said so. Now open the bag.
Black Boy: Officer, you haven’t even told me what you suspect me of doing.
Police Officer: Listen, young man. If you refuse to cooperate, I’ll arrest you for obstruction.
Black Boy: Arrest me for what? I haven’t done anything.
Police Officer: Do you want to spend the night in a police cell? Open it!
Black Boy: Fine. Search it.
Police Officer: What’s this?
Black Boy: My laptop.
Police Officer: And this?
Black Boy: My work clothes. I’m coming from work.

Reminder that the MCU built up Thanos and the Infinity Stones for over a decade just for a random DMV worker in the Loki series to use them as cheap paperweights. Talk about completely invalidating the entire Infinity Saga 💀

Some friendships survive on the exact dynamic happening here: one person fully committed to the bit, the other already paying the price for it.
What’s interesting is how little resistance the second person is putting up. At a certain point the chaos stops being surprising and just becomes the cost of staying.

Did he actually lost his memory that he forgot his true identity? He was meant to be Vision, but the thought of Ultron, kept him doubting his Quest.

My mother kept a little notebook beside the telephone for as long as I can remember. It had names, phone numbers, birthdays, and reminders written in her tiny handwriting. Every Sunday afternoon, she’d call someone she hadn’t spoken to in a while. After she died, I found the notebook in her kitchen drawer, with one name circled almost every week: Mrs. Harris, the widow who lived at the end of our street.

Yes, the father was proud of them for standing up. He would get angry if she stayed quiet, which is why he told her not to let anybody silence her.

Yeah and production knew it would be the biggest fight so they let it continue, it was brutal. I said it before the twins deserved to be jumped but not to that extent

I got brutally fùcked by my ex the night before my wedding.
He showed up at my place unannounced. My fiancé was already at the hotel with his friends. When I opened the door, my ex held up his phone. My nudes. Dozens of them. Clear. Explicit. He told me if I didn’t give him one more night, every single one would be sent to my fiancé, my family, and posted online.
I froze. He stepped inside and locked the door behind him.
He didn’t waste time. He pushed me onto the bed, yanked my clothes off, and shoved his còck into my pùssy in one hard thrust. No warm-up. He fùcked me brutally deep, rough strokes that made the bed slam against the wall. Every time I tried to turn my face away he gripped my jaw and made me look at him.

The no-kill rule is less a claim about the best outcome in one fight and more a constraint that keeps the character from becoming the thing the story exists to oppose.
Once a hero starts deciding which lives are worth ending, every later story has to justify why this particular threat gets the exception and the last one didn’t. That calculation rarely stays clean.
The tension isn’t whether the refusal looks naive in hindsight. It’s whether the story still has a hero left once the refusal is gone.

Karl Schmid admitted that his thirst traps are intentional. He wants people living with HIV to see someone who’s confident, healthy, and comfortable in his own skin not someone who’s been made to feel he should hide.
That stuck with me because the stigma can reach into the most ordinary parts of life, including dating and how people feel about their own bodies. Karl is using the same Instagram where people post holiday pictures and gym selfies to push back against that idea. He’s not asking to be seen as a diagnosis. He’s showing up as a whole person.
And honestly, nobody should have to feel less desirable or less worthy of love because they’re living with HIV. ❤️
