ALT Those acknowledged by the Founders during a presentation after the speech included, Lord Tarsem King (UPF - UK's Inaugural Patron), Maurice Geogham, a British army veteran of the Korean War, Rev Dr Clinton Bennett Mrs Khailash Puri and Hilde Rapp.

ALT The launch in London symbolized not only the institutional expansion of UPF’s peace mission, but also the triumph of faith and perseverance. It came after nearly a decade of legal and public efforts to lift restrictions that had prevented Rev. Moon from entering the UK—a breakthrough that allowed him and Dr. Hak Ja Han to share their vision directly with the British public and international guests.

ALT After a 27-year absence from the country, Rev. Moon addressed an invited audience at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London, outlining UPF’s vision of a world united beyond barriers of race, religion, and nationality. His message called for global cooperation based on universal values of family, service, and peace. He delivered the same speech in every nation, ‘God’s Ideal Family is the Model for World Peace’.
