Donald Trump made more money in one month via insider trading than Nancy Pelosi did in 37 years.

This 10 min video from @kiteandkeymedia explains the reasons people believe conspiracy theories. Especially important since such theories have become central to the political discourse now on social media.

Amazon Prime costs $139/year. Most members use 2 features: free shipping and Prime Video. That's a $139 subscription doing the job of a $5.99 delivery fee. J.P. Morgan estimates the actual value of Prime benefits at approximately $1,430/year more than 10x the membership cost. But most of that value sits unclaimed behind tabs, menus, and pages 200 million members have never opened. And 4 of those benefits expire monthly. If you don't claim them by the end of the month, they're gone. Amazon resets the clock. You paid for them. You lost them. Amazon is counting on you not knowing. Here are the 12 Prime benefits most members have never activated including the 4 that vanish every 30 days 🧵

Jeff Bridges shows Theo Von how he uses AI to write and record songs, playing a Suno-generated track about his wife Sue "It's frightening, man. It's very frightening, but it's an amalgamation of all our wisdom, our soul, our things." "All the guys in Nashville are using it now. Instead of going into the studio and paying, you know, $10,000, they can do this for nothing, man."

Real America's Voice host Grant Stinchfield thinks the left sabotaged Trump's work on the Reflecting Pool: "President Trump fixes the Reflecting Pool and a week later it's green again, loaded with algae… Sabotage… Vandalism? I believe it is. The left can't stand Trump, American greatness, and his quest to make DC beautiful again. What a shame!"

To believe that the children of diplomats is a separate category distinct from the preceding usage of foreigners/aliens is to believe that anyone would say the following: “I love all desserts except for ice cream and chocolate ice cream.” There would be no need to specify chocolate ice cream after already saying ice cream. Howard was giving a single category: the children of diplomats.

New: A since-deleted video from 2019 shows MTG harassing @AOC's office through a locked door. Calling her "crazy eyes" and telling her through the office's mailbox slot to "get rid of your diaper" while telling the office to open the door and come out. cnn.com/2021/05/14/politics/…

Joe Kent remarried four and a half years after his wife was killed by ISIS. Trump is on his third wife who he met through a sex trafficker and buried the mother of his children, who he cheated on, on his golf course in order to get a tax break. Joe Kent and Donald Trump are not the same.
Trump on Joe Kent: "I'm not a fan of the guy ... His wife was killed. He remarried fairly quickly."

Yes, the 2015 JCPOA (Obama-era Iran nuclear deal) required Iran to grant IAEA inspectors continuous 24/7 monitoring and daily access to declared nuclear sites like Natanz and Fordow. It also provisionally applied the Additional Protocol for broader inspections, including a process for access to suspected undeclared locations (with up to 24 days max delay via dispute resolution). Trump withdrew in 2018. Iran later curtailed cooperation after that.

Throughout the 1990s and into the 2000s, a primary theme of right-wing politics was that only state and local police had the right to police people's communities, and that armed federal agents -- whether ATF, FBI or Bureau of Land Management -- was a grave, un-American danger:

My AI investment thesis is that every AI application startup is likely to be crushed by rapid expansion of the foundational model providers. App functionality will be added to the foundational models' offerings, because the big players aren't slow incumbents (it is wrong to apply the analogy of "fast startup, slow incumbent" here), they are just big. Far more so than with any other prior new technology, there is a massive and fast-moving wave that obsoletes every new app almost as fast as it can be invented. There is almost no time to build a company and scale it. There are two ways AI application startup founders can make money: - Make a flash-in-the-pan app that generates a ton of cash and bank the cash (my estimate is that you have about 12-18 months cashflow generation) - Make a good enough app that you get acquired by one of the big players for sufficient equity The situation is highly unstable - we don't know if it's going to crash or go to the moon but both scenarios make it very unlikely that any AI application startup will independently become a generational supercompany (baseline odds are low to begin with). The best odds are finding an application niche in a highly specialized field with extremely unique and specific data barriers, ideally ones relating to real atoms (hardware or world-related) data and not software/finance.

This guy is still in jail for posting a meme mocking Trump’s hypocrisy about shooting deaths
Some insisted there had to be more to this story. He couldn't have been arrested just for posting a political meme. But he was. And now the sheriff admits to illegally withholding public records about the case.
