NEW: With Halloween only 8 days away, we wonder: is the entire Blue Jackets franchise simply cursed? #CBJ | @Mr_UnionBlue unionandblue.com/for-the-nhl…

Jackets pick up a big win, we all needed that one. Pretty complete game all around! Three stars: 🌟 🌟🌟 Mateychuk (1g) 🌟🌟 Fantilli (GWG) 🌟 Talbot (26 saves) Kent Johnson was the best player on the ice IMO, but hard to complain about these choices. #CBJ

Heading to overtime tied 1-1, Jackets get a point. Let's hope they can get the W here #CBJ

Little scrambly there, Knights come close a couple of times. Unreal stick check by Fantilli breaks up the first one, then Talbot robs Eichel. Still a 1-1 game #CBJ

The first power-play opportunity looked good. The second power-play opportunity looked awful. Back to rimming pucks around the board and making it easy on the PK. Still 1-1 #CBJ

Jackets will get their first power-play of the night thanks to a hard working shift from the fourth line. Need one here boys. #CBJ

Good second period. Actually, compared to a normal second period this season, that was fantastic. Still 1-1 #CBJ

Buff is such a beauty. Looks just like he did in juniors, circa 2003 so.

1-1 after 20 minutes. Shots are 9-5 Vegas, but that doesn't tell the whole story. Jackets had a nice period, three of their forward lines looked good. Kent Johnson was the best player on the ice for either team IMO. #CBJ

Jackson Smith gets the OT winner for Penn State. #CBJ

Vegas ties it up. #CBJ

Jody Shelley pointing out that the Vegas clearing attempt hit the camera hole in the glass, which led to the turnover and eventually the goal. #CBJ

Denton Mateychuk makes it 1-0! Great finish on the backhand #CBJ

Good first PK by the Jackets, still scoreless. #CBJ

That should have been a penalty to Vegas for pushing the net off IMO. #CBJ
