DeFi is not a revolution in financial products. That new protocol you just came up with? There’s an old finance paper describing it. DeFi is an infra revolution: transparent, accessible, permissionless. Closer to the emergence of electronic markets than the invention of banks.

You guys didn't seriously believe the Ethereum gigabrain researchers didn't work on scalability all these years, did you? Now @arbitrum just passed $1b TVL, and heavy hitters like @AaveAave haven't even deployed yet. We do this without compromising on decentralization.
