Thread: Before we dive in, let’s address a critical issue: There are some people around the world who perceive Jerusalem as an Arab area, including the ICJ, with some even advocating for it to be handed over to the Palestinians as the capital of their prospective terror state. This view overlooks the profound and unbroken Jewish connection to Jerusalem. Let’s review how Jerusalem is intrinsically Jewish and how its history has been hijacked and rewritten.

Regarding California's AB 1955 signed into law this week, @AbigailShrier argues (in an article linked below) that it: 1. Mimics the tactics of child predators by isolating children from their parents. 2. Undermines parental rights and the parent-child relationship. 3. Potentially puts children at risk by encouraging secret gender transitions without parental knowledge or support. 4. Ignores growing evidence and international trends cautioning against pediatric gender transitions. 5. Disregards public opinion, which largely supports parental notification in such cases. 6. May lead to political backlash against Democrats, as exemplified by the author's interview subject who switched party affiliation. thefp.com/p/abigail-shrier-c…

This is disturbing news. It's time to #StopChildSexAbuse! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
HORRIFIC. Dr. Christopher Sheerer, an anesthesiologist at Boston Children’s Hospital, was arrested for possession of child p**n. Authorities reportedly found material on his phone of “children ranging in age from infants to pubescent teenagers" that showed "the s*xual ab*se of children by adults."

The narrative that Israel is deliberately targeting children for bombing and starvation is a dangerous lie and libel. Shame on Peter Beinart for repeating it. The IDF soldiers fighting in the war are not monsters. These are young men and women who were leading normal lives until their worlds were upended on October 7th, when Hamas murdered, maimed, mutilated, raped, tortured, burned, butchered, and abducted their family, friends, and fellow Israelis in an act of terror that you sanitize as “resistance.” Villainizing a people who simply seek security from mass murder is its own form of profanity.

If there were a hateful protest against a Black Church or a Latino Church, we would not attempt to “explain” it. We would condemn it. If there were a hateful protest against a mosque, we would not attempt to “explain" it. We would condemn it. Why do we, as a society, feel the need to “explain” a hateful protest against a synagogue in Los Angeles? The attempt to justify unjustifiable attacks against Jews is its own form of antisemitism.

Part of the reason the anti-Israel movement has been sidelined and ignored by many around the world is because of their bizarre fixation with absurd hyper-exaggerations and buzzwords. Their abysmal success rate is almost laughably bad considering Jews may be the single most hated group on the planet. The world is ever ready to pounce on the slightest perceived error commited by the Jewish state. And yet, 75 years after being rebuilt, Israel is stronger than ever. Surrounded by enemies who want to destroy her and shaken by internal fighting perhaps, but the core of Israel is as strong as it has ever been. You see, Israel has been accused of genocide and ethnic cleansing since the day the State was reestablished. So asking Israel to stop the war while pretending that these accusations will magically disappear is ludicrous. In fact, the day this war ends and it becomes absolutely clear that there was no genocide, you will not hear a single apology or retraction. Just this week the UN admitted that their 8 month long blood libel of a famine in Gaza was completely fabricated. Not only wasn't this reported anywhere in the media but not a single UN organization issued an apology or even an explanation. This is the same exact thing that took place in regard to the casualty numbers invented by Hamas that the UN decided to parrot for four months before admitting that the numbers were based off of absolutely nothing. Israel is also accused of "occupying" Gaza despite having physically removed every single Israeli soldier and civilian that lived there. If your definition of occupation is ensuring that your enemies are not capable of getting the weapons they need to destroy you then sure, Israel is "occupying" Gaza. But in what universe is it morally correct for a government to let its own citizens be killed and its country destroyed because they don't want to be accused of occupation. Antisemites is not bleeding into the pro-palestinian movement. It is its lifeblood. This hatred leads to outlandish accusations that normal people understand are ludicrous. Every time the UN condemns Israel while ignoring other countries who are commiting far worse atrocities than anything Israel is accused of, the world is forced to acknowledge the double standard that is placed on the worlds only Jewish state. Thus, every action taken against Israel only strengthens the resolve of Israelis and Jews around the world who understand that Israel will never be treated fairly. The irony is that if Israel were treated like any other country, we would have far less of a reason to need our own land, regardless of our historically legitimate claim to it. The below picture is a clear example of the type of language that only serves to deligitimize their entire movement. The only reason to accuse Israel of controlling the world is antisemitism, but pictures like this are posted on pro-palestinian accounts and receive tens of thousands of likes. They literally cannot control themselves from promoting material like this despite the damage it does to the credibility of their movement. However, young people who fail to discern the difference between sympathizing with and supporting victims, and hating and demonizing a group of people are easily manipulated to support an ideology like this in which the victims are on display in their social media feeds day after day. It is imperative that our education system takes this problem seriously and starts enabling students to use their critical thinking to understand what is going on right in front of their eyes. Pointing out the extremism, abuse, and antisemitism, that is so easily found in the pro-palestinian movement can be an easy way to expose students to another point of vote and let them decide for themselves if this is something they want to be a part of. Of course, it would be helpful for media other than @FoxNews and @nypost to report on this but it seems like they too have an agenda.

Tennessee is setting a good example for the rest of the country. #StopChildSexAbuse #StopChildSexualAbuse #StopChildAbuse ⬇️⬇️⬇️
🔥🚨BREAKING: Tennessee convicted child rapists will be sentenced to the death penalty without any exemptions starting next week. Tennessee has passed HB1663 to allow the death penalty for child rapists. The vote was 77 to 19. The 19 who voted against it are ALL Democrats. We are leading the way down here in Nashville. This is the Tennessee and American way.

Are we going to become a country in which journalists are regularly surrounded and threatened for doing their jobs? Because that happened yesterday to @TheFP reporter @Olivia_Reingold in downtown New York. Are we going to become a place in which marauding bands of masked young people harass Jews visiting a memorial for the 364 Israelis murdered at a music festival? Because that happened yesterday, too. Are we going to become a place where it is normal for people to get on the subway and declare: “Raise your hands if you’re a Zionist. This is your chance to get out.” Yes, also yesterday. Or where police and security guards are regularly assaulted in the course of doing their jobs? Because that happened at UCLA on the same day as well. My point here is that anyone trying to convince you that this is about a faraway war, or that the anger in our streets is mostly because Benjamin Netanyahu is the current Israeli prime minister—anyone who insists this is a Jewish issue—is deluding you and themselves. So are those who comfort themselves by insisting that this will pass by like some idiot wind. It will not. This is about a choice we face. A choice about what kind of country we want to be—and what kind of country we are at risk of becoming. The only way to understand that is to listen to what these protesters say they want. And what they are shouting for—what they openly desire—is not peace, but terror. thefp.com/p/bari-weiss-the-m…

Compare and contrast the tenacity and commitment that @Israel employs to recover its hostages with that of the USA and the Biden administration. Eight American hostages are being held by Hamas, five living and three dead. What are we doing to get them home?

They were not released. They were liberated.
Relieved that four hostages have been released. It should not have come at the expense of at least 200 Palestinians, including children, killed and over 400 injured by Israel and allegedly foreign soldiers, while perfidiously hiding in an aid truck. This is "humanitarian camouflage" at another level. Israel has used hostages to legitimise killing, injuring, maiming, starving and traumatising Palestinians in Gaza. And while intensifying violence against Palestinians in the rest of the occupied territory and Israel. Israel could have freed all hostages, alive and intact, 8 months ago when the first ceasfire and hostage exchange was put on the table. Yet, Israel refused in order to continue to destroy Gaza and the Palestinians as a people. This is genocidal intent turned into action. Crystal clear.

The American College of Pediatricians just put out a 🔥🔥🔥 statement calling out all the major medical associations by name for pushing the gender transition craze on kids. They ask for these groups to "IMMEDIATELY stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex." The full @ACPeds statement ⬇️ "Therefore, given the recent research and the revelations of the harmful approach advocated by WPATH and its followers in the United States, we, the undersigned, call upon the medical professional organizations of the United States, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the  Endocrine Society, the Pediatric Endocrine Society, American Medical Association, the American Psychological Association, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to follow the science and their European professional colleagues and immediately stop the promotion of social affirmation, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and surgeries for children and adolescents who experience distress over their biological sex.  Instead, these organizations should recommend comprehensive evaluations and therapies aimed at identifying and addressing underlying psychological co-morbidities and neurodiversity that often predispose to and accompany gender dysphoria. We also encourage the physicians who are members of these professional organizations to contact their leadership and urge them to adhere to the evidence-based research now available.” They link to MANY studies on their site: doctorsprotectingchildren.or…

So you want to recognize the state of Palestine? By all means. Go ahead. Just make sure to note that since Palestine is a state, no-one living in it is or can be or will be recognized by your country as a "refugee from Palestine", that you are therefore defunding UNRWA, that there is no such thing as a "right of return" into another sovereign state in which one has never been a citizen or ever lived. If you're not ready to so as a package, then please don't pretend that the purpose of recognizing Palestine is to promote "a two state solution". Given that there was never a moment in the last century when there was an Arab Palestinian vision of peace and two states where one of the states is Jewish - which means acceptance that no-one is a "refugee from Palestine" when already living there or as citizens of Jordan and other countries, and that there is no such "right of return" into the territory of the sovereign state of Israel of people who were never its citizens - then now might be a great time to start clarifying that. A recognition of a state of Palestine is a great way to finally clarify - is the other state in the "two state solution" the Jewish state of Israel? Or, is it, as Palestinians continue to believe, a temporary aberration that will revert to being Arab in due course? It is high time to ensure that any vision of peace by two states means that one of these two state is Jewish. And if not, it would be nice to finally know that your country recognizes Palestine because it believes that "from water to water Palestine will be Arab" - the original Arab version of "From the River to the Sea" - and that there is no room for Jewish sovereignty anywhere. Precisely the vision that animated Hamas October 7th attack and the continued support it enjoys among Palestinians. If this is why your country is recognizing Palestine, it would be a good time for Israel to finally know that. If not, if you genuinely believe in a two-state solution where one of the two is Jewish, then get off your bum and make it clear - that recognition of Palestine comes with a strong declaration and policy that no-one living in it is or can be or will be recognized by your country as a "refugee from Palestine", that you are therefore defunding UNRWA, that there is no such thing as a "right of return" into another sovereign state in which one has never been a citizen or ever lived. Then we'll know you're serious. Anything else is lazy virtue signaling, worthy of an Anthropology student in the US, not a government of a proper country.
