🐶 Viliame Kikau | 2RF | $590,800 @UpsideSC 3-RD Forecast: Good ✅ At just 6% ownership & 1,700 trade-ins so far this week, Kikau is the POD of the round. If you’ve been watching the Bulldogs, you’ll know that they are going almost exclusively left in attack. Not sure what the numbers say, but I’d guess it’s around 70%+ (vs right side) going through Kikau, Xerri & Montoya in good ball sets. Now the Bulldogs were touched up hard last week, which was honestly quite a shock. I am expecting them to make a major statement this week after saving face in the second half. I think they’ll be very motivated to turn things around & show that they are a fair dinkum premiership threat. This doesn’t bode well for a undermanned Titans side. Despite the Bulldogs success, they don’t have a lot of SuperCoach relevant players, so it is difficult to find a meaningful piece of their attack to ensure we don’t miss out in games where they turn it on in attack. Owning Kiraz & Kikau will make Bulldogs fixtures much more enjoyable to watch but genuinely think Kikau is an absolute steal at the price. Kikau does rely somewhat on attacking stats, so don’t expect him to go nuts week in, week out. But at the price, in a weak 2RF position I think he COULD be played every week, but I think once teams begin to hit full straight, the ideal scenario would be to play him on favourable matchups. This shouldn’t be an issue with the amount of $ going around this season from seemingly endless cash cows. Keep an eye on weekly matchup predictions on @UpsideSC’s page/podcast to help you decide when to play. Bulldogs will be relying more on Kikau through this period with multiple suspensions, so I’d say he’s a very safe purchase who covers all major byes. ⚔️ Dylan Lucas | 2RF/CTW | $646,900 @UpsideSC 3-RD Forecast: Elite 🔥 One of the top 2RF/CTW options in SuperCoach has returned just in time for the Knights heavenly upcoming schedule (Rabbits, Titans, Eels, Panthers w/o origin players). 77 minutes upon resuming last week in New Zealand & looks primed to continue as a top base + power player competition wide. We saw glimpses of his work-rate capacity last season but this year it appears to have gone to another level. Averaging 40 tackles & 13 runs/game this season, Lucas presents as one of the highest floor players to go with his obvious attacking upside. As I said with Fletcher Sharpe in last week’s post, the Knights attack is misfiring terribly at the moment, but given Lucas has a great appetite for work, he will be a low risk option even whilst we wait for them to get their combinations sorted. The Knights left side attack has the potential to be as high octane as any side in the comp, which we saw glimpses of in the trials. Expecting them to improve on their abysmal 10pts/game over the next month. I see him as absolutely essential & is probably the number one 2RF to own over the origin period.
