We're into the sampling, testing and packaging stages with our #hempseed
Quality is THE most important factor, so lab testing is priority. Hopefully results come soon and we can start processing and sales.

Our first Hemp harvest, really busy, really tired, but the combine has done a great job and the crop has surprised us! Certainly a promising break crop.

Industrial hemp achieves full ground cover within a month, even under non-ideal weather conditions. Weeds don't stand a chance and no pesticides are needed.
(This is a crop we thought was suffering drought 2 weeks ago)

Cracking on with soil sampling for @UseBritishHemp x @IFarmers project to measure the environmental benefit of growing #hemp. Taking samples from our hemp field and a control before and after the crop for 2 seasons to assess the impact on #soilhealth and #biodiversity.

In the last week the #hemp has shown us what it can do! (We had rain on Thursday, after a month without). First photo is from week 3, other two photos taken today (end of week 4). @IFarmers @UseBritishHemp #hempuk #finola

A 📷 from our farm at the foothill of the South Downs in Sussex.
If you live in the countryside, a hemp farm is the best neighbor you can get! Hemp is naturally resistant to pests, meaning that we can grow our hemp easily without endangering local communities or wildlife. #hemp
