Just read that someone in 2020 rented a billboard in Manchester with a picture of them and a website in a bid to find love after becoming frustrated with dating apps - and I have the urge to do the same 🤣🤣
Did you know Matt Healy & George Daniel of The 1975 are additional producers on Beabadoobee "Write Me A Letter" for her new album Pylon. It's not the first time Matt Healy's worked with Beabadoobee. Under their mutual label Dirty Hit, he co-wrote 2 songs for her 2022 LP Beatopia.
Spent my morning at RHS Garden Bridgewater, taking in the new and recently opened Chinese Garden that took 8 years of development - using traditional crafting techniques, rarely seen out of China. The largest, authentic Chinese Garden in the UK
Moved over to PC gaming and purchased an EasySMX X05 Pro for £28. It's an incredible budget controller. Impulse triggers + 2+2 vibration motors (2 in controller & 2 in triggers as an alt). Halls effect triggers & joysticks. Trigger stops, Quiet buttons, grips on back, great size.
Icl, I wish I never bought glossy wardrobes and drawers. Yes they look nice, but my god are they a pain to keep clean. Fingerprint marks all over them. I forgot how high maintenance gloss is 😭

Johnny Marr - It's Time
Is this the best solo song he's done? The Jangly guitar is incredible in this song (you'll have to listen to the full version. The guitar intro is really good)

BBC literally built the greatest sound library on the internet.
It is called BBC Sound Effects, and it gives you access to more than 30,000 recordings from around the world.
Just search any word, and it instantly finds matching sounds.
You can filter them by category, duration, and even the continent where the sound was recorded.
Every sound can be previewed inside your browser, downloaded, or added to the built-in mixer so you can layer multiple recordings together.
And the archive gets insanely specific.
You can find creaking ships, old typewriters, jungle ambience, distant church congregations, and even someone vigorously washing their hands.
There is a good chance a BBC engineer recorded the exact sound you need decades before you were born.
