the overall revenue on bittensor:native is skyrocketing, many shit subnets being purged while top ones have large MoM growth
Its currently in its best ever state as the competition forces innovation at rapid pace
SN92: the next phase
Subnets that last are the ones where real revenue pays the bills. That's the direction I laid out on 18 Oct in the subnet discord, and after Friday's crowning slots SN92 takes the next step.
Phase 1: Build (done).
The launch phase was deliberately generous: test the network at scale, bring many miners in, learn fast.
It delivered:
•engine techniques that make our models much faster and cheaper to run, now going into decisionmodels.io
•real know-how on training better decision models; the strongest entries that clearly beats their base go to the Hugging Face Decision Index
•a community of miners who know this subnet inside out
Phase 2: Earn (now).
Spending follows real revenue and what operations actually need:
•Both competition tracks pause after Friday's slots.
•Inference rewards move step by step toward real customer demand, starting next week, each step announced here first.
•Fair to everyone: every crowning is paid properly (full share for 3 days, then down to zero by day 7, then keep-alive, so no champion gets pruned), and everything already earned stays paid.
Phase 3: Scale. As paying customers grow, rewards grow with them, paid by real demand instead of emission. That's escape velocity.
Why this works
•Speed: miners in the engine competition made our models up to 3–4× faster on the same GPUs, verified against strict correctness checks. That goes straight into production.
•Cost: decision models are cheap to serve. A single RTX PRO 6000 handles 30 to 95 decisions per second in our measurements, while large LLMs need clusters of the most expensive GPUs for a handful of users. This is the type of business that can pay for itself.
•Demand: weekly requests to decision models on OpenRouter doubled in four weeks, to 1.67 billion a week (source: openrouter.ai/rankings).
•Traction: decisionmodels.io is growing organically. One customer who found us on their own sent 1.7 million requests in a single week. We are well positioned in an early stage of a disruptive market.
Winning customers, marketing and partnerships take time and happen outside mining, so that's where my focus goes now.
And something is coming soon that should bring a lot more customers into the network. Stay tuned.
If you step back from mining after fridays emission reductions: you're an amazing bunch, trained and capable, and always welcome back as the network grows.
Thank you!

Druck is posting about crypto.
Hyperliquid takes 99% of revenue and buys n burns it's own $HYPE token.
The model works. Hugely.
And this is exactly what Bittensor subnets do: it's the SAME model, but applied to AI products.
RNS: Launch of Bittensor Infrastructure Operations
KR1 plc today announces the launch of Technology Infrastructure operations on @bittensor, enabled by recent acquisitions of TAO, the network’s native digital asset.
Over recent months, the Company has acquired 5,000 TAO and launched staking operations on Bittensor as part of its Technology Infrastructure strategy. These activities advance KR1’s mission to unlock public-market access to productive digital assets and the onchain infrastructure driving the convergence of AI and crypto.

Now Live: Beam💫 x @huggingface🤗.
Nearly 3 million public models. 1 million datasets. Hugging Face has become a major hub for open AI, with its dataset count growing from 711,000 to 1 million in the first seven months of 2026.
That scale creates a practical challenge: getting massive datasets to the compute that needs them.
Beam will enable teams to move large datasets into and out of Hugging Face through its distributed network, connecting the data behind AI to the infrastructure that puts it to work.

Hachikō waited nine years. You won’t have to.
if you think world models like Genie, Odyssey or the one we're building at the moment are about generating video games, you're missing the point
the real breakthrough is giving AI a place to experiment, fail and learn before acting in the physical world
going from understanding what is happening to predicting what could happen, and eventually figuring out what to do about it
that's where things get really interesting for physical AI

Chutes is now live on @say_gm_
SayGM gives you one API key for Claude, GPT, Gemini and open-source models.
When you pick one of SayGM’s private models, it can now run on Chutes, inside secure hardware where no one can read your prompts. Not even us.

One subnet on bittensor:native (there are 128 of them) just burned 2 million dollars & did 500k in buybacks
One. Of 128.
So much higher
We have just repurchased and burned 1,772 TAO (~$445K) of SN4 alpha using organic revenues generated via Targon.com
We have also burned an additional 6,678 TAO (~$1.7M) worth of SN4 alpha, which also represents revenue generated via Targon

The $dTAO market clearly isn't gloomy for everyone.
The latest announcement from @TargonCompute (SN4), reporting over $725K in revenue over the past 30 days alongside a significant buyback & burn, is another example.

Just look at the subnet rankings. Some continue to make progress despite challenging market conditions.
I remain convinced that capital could gradually concentrate in the strongest projects: those that keep building, attract real paying customers, generate revenue, and create value for their tokens.
The era of blind speculation on zombie projects should give way to an era driven by fundamentals.
Of course, other subnets also show promising potential. But I'd like to see more tangible progress before considering them among the leaders. And there's plenty of room for that group to grow.
In this market, my priority remains simple: preserve my $TAO capital while taking calculated risks on projects capable of demonstrating real economic value.
This isn't financial advice, just my perspective on how the network is evolving.
Natural selection is underway. And it's probably only just beginning.

agree with this
Good example is Targon on Bittensor. They just bought back $445K from revenue they've generated selling compute
Meanwhile, the Bittensor chain over the last month has bought 5,215 TAO ($1.45M) of Targon.
So ~$2M of token buybacks just in October

And they're using it (in part) to buy n burn their subnet tokens.
