Anyone who hated the BC Liberals and saying the BC Conservatives are just the BC Liberals under a different name. You may be right. Here's Christy Clark the most hated BC Liberal hugging it out with Lorne Doerkson at a BC Conservative rally

The Conservative camp has been trying to restrict media access this whole campaign. And now they're telling journalists to "go away".
Lorne Doerkson meets with volunteers and candidate Alex McMillan in Eby’s riding of Vancouver-Point Grey. It was supposed to be a photo op but a reporter asked Doerkson how he responds to Eby calling him a “Trojan horse” for extreme candidates. Here’s what he said:

A catastrophic blast at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright, Alberta has reportedly resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries during a live fire military training operation.
According to local sources on base, Canadian Forces personnel had been conducting exercises over several days when an artillery projectile reportedly struck an active natural gas well on the bombing range, triggering a massive detonation.
The blast is said to have levelled nearby tactical training buildings, with subsequent fires reaching munitions storage and setting off secondary detonations across the range.
The geography and infrastructure;
➟ CFB Wainwright has a documented history of natural gas production, with approximately 180 wells reported on the military property in 2014.
➟ Military range maps identify munitions storage, pipelines and designated live fire danger areas near Peterson Pond.
➟ NASA FIRMS satellite imagery recorded multiple thermal hotspots between Peterson Pond and Jamieson Lake on October 17.
Local accounts also describe hospitals activating Code Orange protocols, mobilizing stretchers and preparing for a significant influx of casualties.
The reported gas well strike, secondary detonations and hospital emergency measures remain unconfirmed as authorities investigate the incident.
Should these reports be confirmed, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved and affected.

What level of chess is it when you neglect to fill up your strategic oil reserves before starting a war that shuts down oil production worldwide, so you have to buy oil at an inflated price from your enemy who then uses those funds to back the enemy you just needlessly attacked?
Based on recent reports from sources like ICT News and ABC News, ICE detained four Oglala Lakota men in Minneapolis around January 9-13, 2026. One has been released, while three remain in custody at Fort Snelling, a site historically used as a concentration camp for Dakota people during the 1862 US-Dakota War. The Oglala Sioux Tribe disputes the detentions as treaty violations and demands their release.

One year ago, we lost Premier John Horgan, a leader who met the moment for B.C. with courage, humility, and heart.
He believed in young people and pushed all of us to dream bigger for this province. John’s example still guides us.
