it's officially November and so begins the start of a busy and triggering time of year for many of us. bills, projects, deadlines, grief, overstimulation, exhaustion, seasonal depression, and more, can wreak havoc on daily life. that being said, here are 10 things to try and remember, especially with the holidays approaching: • it's important to give yourself grace or space whenever needed, even if it seems inconvenient to others • a lot of people are grieving or struggling, please be mindful of unspoken energy and body language • be patient with your progress and acknowledge it no matter how small it seems • remember you deserve effortless joy and peace, without overexerting yourself first • everything doesn't deserve a reaction • spend your energy like currency and budget accordingly • allow the quiet moments to recharge you instead of searching for something to fill them, because you feel pressure to be productive • consideration is free, but it's also priceless • honor your needs and stop seeing them as inconveniences, because they require vulnerability • rest & relaxation can be about more than just laying still or sleeping; it can also include activities that gently replenish your soul there are two months left in the year. find a way to make them valuable without spending anything, but investing everything into yourself that you can. you deserve it.
