Couldn’t have said it better. Yesterday the Hokies dug deep, answered their captain, put the ball in the hands of the next great running back, and found a way to land ashore in the nor’easter. Bodes well for the future. On to Friday night in Lane!
Listening to Burnop but TV broadcast has gone out. Probably another power outage problem at the stadium. @HokiesFB

World Championship Week ➕ Monday Memories 🥇🇺🇸
In 2018, Mekhi Lewis became the first World Champ in program history when he won gold at the U20 World Championships in Trnava, Slovakia. Eight years later, Aaron Seidel, Bo Bassett, and Ryan Burton are the first trio in program history to make the same world team. The trio will look to bring home gold in no other than Bratislava, Slovakia.

Bo Bassett takes out NCAA champion Aden Valencia in an unbelievable match at the U.S. Open.
Bassett wins 11-10 to advance to the 65 kg semifinals.
Coach Robie is making moves to put more pieces in place that will position @HokiesWrestling for great things to come. Broadening the coaching depth and increasing the focus on the middle and upper weights is likely in the works.
