Why are Democrats protecting @GaryGensler and the @SECGov? American investors deserve answers from the people tasked with overseeing our capital markets. Congress should fulfill its constitutional role to conduct oversight. Read my letter with @PatrickMcHenry below.

I agree. It’s one thing to exercise statutory authority. It’s another to manipulate statutory ambiguity and then hide behind deliberative process privilege to exert control and harm the very people an agency should protect.

In 4 years of pursuit by SEC:
We've spent millions of $$, provided millions of pages of documents, and spent 10,000+ man hours
In all that time, SEC has never answered a question or provided feedback of any kind
We want to follow the law, but no one will tell us what it is

In yesterday's @FinancialCmte hearing, I pressed Democrats on their unwillingness to hold @GaryGensler's SEC accountable. It is extremely troubling to me that the SEC seems more intent on pursuing highly politicized regulatory undertakings than focusing on its core mission.

Under Gary Gensler, the SEC continues to promote the Biden Administration’s radical environmental agenda. Congress has not granted the SEC this authority. The SEC should remain focused on protecting investors not pleasing the far left. Read my letter to the SEC below.

Painful to see so much dishonesty, twisted questions and ill will coming from a U.S. senator. We need younger and more capable senators who care about capital formation, innovation and the national interest.

Coin Center yesterday filed an amicus brief in Jarrett v. U.S. This case can upend how block rewards are taxed. Josh rejected his refund to get the court to offer a clear ruling. Coin Center filed an amicus last night to help the judge understand the value of a final ruling.

When IRS ignored my claim I sued in federal court. The government offered me a refund and wants my case dismissed without acknowledging I'm right. I'm opposing that to try to seek a definitive ruling. My brief was filed today: proofofstakealliance.org/wp-…

🤔 Willful deception or acute ignorance from @SpeakerPelosi?
Answer: Spending more than you collect in taxes only works until you spend more than anyone will even lend. Then you just “print” more money. Of course this destroys the value of your money, and results in inflation.
.@SpeakerPelosi: "When we're having this discussion, it's important to dispel some of those who say, well it's the government spending. No, it isn't. The government spending is doing the exact reverse, reducing the national debt. It is not inflationary."
