In recognition of Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we wanted to give a shout out to the dispatchers and call takers who are our lifeline. They help us get home safely every night, but rarely get recognized for their hard work. @SouthSound911 @wastatepatrol @ValleyCom911

What a beautiful tribute!!!
Hanging in the @ValleyCom911 in Seattle US, each leaf (added) reps a life saved from cardiac arrest & each blossom reps a childbirth all of which dispatched from their very own 911 control room!
I'd love this idea brought over here in UK! @VeeVonnie

How does a dispatch center provide information during the COVID-19 crisis? @ValleyCom911 leverages data to help responders make the best possible decisions in the field. #COVIDResponse govthink.com/2020/04/using-a…
9-1-1 reminder: Please don’t call 9-1-1 unless you have an emergency. If you do need police, fire or EMS services, be prepared to answer questions related to the health of yourself and those around you for the safety of first responders.
To slow the spread of COVID-19, everyone, even people who are young and healthy, must stay home except for emergency travel or essential needs.
Going outside for walks and exercise is allowed, as long as social distancing of 6 feet is maintained.

The Hearing, Speech, & Deaf Center will be posting videos every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to help the deaf community for the next several weeks. In these VLOGs, they will be sharing information about what is going on with the COVID-19.
