A little rain didn’t stop the runners and walkers from coming out to the Annual Boston Fire Department Memorial 10k Road Race. Great job by the @bfdrelief making this event bigger and better every year and a fun time for all.

Emergency departments are slammed. Full stop. Look, I think the way we pay for primary care has a lot to do with the mess we are in, and thoughtful restructuring could significantly enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare

I'm a published author. I struggled to write essays in HS, college, grad school, even as faculty. Never assumed Id be a writer. Never consider writing a skill one can develop. After small lessons via courses, books, rejections - I grew - & felt like I was ready to write a book.

#NationalLatinoPhysicianDay
6% of physicians are Latinos & only 2.4% are Latinas. While not nearly enough, I’m grateful to be a part of a community who strives to serve & advocate for the resilient Latino communities who raised us. 🇩🇴

Happy #HispanicHeritageMonth! 🇲🇽 Despite the fact that ~20% of Americans identify as Hispanic/Latino/Latinx, only ~7% of active physicians identify as Hispanic/Latino/Latinx (6% in emergency medicine). Proud to be part of that 6-7%, but we can do better. In the meantime, we sing. @JossAntoinette @EMRES_MGHBWH

Thoughts on #MexicanIndependenceDay 🇲🇽
Did you know only 1.7% of US physicians are Mexican-American?
And 40% of #LatinasInMedicine (which is only 2.4% of all physicians in the US) are US born. Happy to represent, but we need more! #SĂSePuede
