馃實Climate change is spreading WNV, EEE, malaria, & dengue via different mosquito vectors. With recent cases in DC and MA, the threat is real. #Vectech uses AI & expert surveillance to identify mosquitoes & detect viruses to ensure communities are properly prepared.馃#PublicHealth
Our CEO Tristan Ford shared updates on Vectech's AI tools for vector surveillance at the 19th Annual Arbovirus Surveillance & Mosquito Control Workshop in St Augustine, FL this week. Thanks to Anastasia Mosquito Control District for hosting an incredible meeting!
Last week, our entomologist Roy Faiman traveled to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for the 20th Annual North American Black Fly Association (NABFA) Meeting. Dr. Peter Adler's Black Fly taxonomy workshop was a highlight of the trip. So much to learn!

Dr. Peter Adler's Black Fly taxonomy workshop was a highlight of the trip. So much to learn! Roy also presented Vectech's state of the art IDX system. Could AI someday aid black fly taxonomic ID? Special thanks to Carey LaMere and Tadhgh Rainey for their invaluable insights and for putting this together! #VectorControl #Entomology #BlackFly #PublicHealth #ComputerVision
