BAD NEWS FOR EVERY STREET PHOTOGRAPHER
A wet Manhattan crosswalk, a yellow cab at the light, office towers lit up behind her. A girl in a mint cowl top over white lace and black jeans stands in the lane, talks straight into the camera, throws her hands up, flips her hair and sticks her tongue out like the take landed. It looks exactly like a night-out street reel from a clothing brand.
Except nobody shot it. No model, no permit, no photographer, no crew. The whole clip is AI-generated.
Not long ago, a scene like this meant booking a face, flying a team in and paying them to shoot until the light died. Now any outfit can be put on any face, on any corner, with a prompt. That’s a huge shift for brands. And scammers noticed it first: the same tools that build a perfect street look build a perfect fake person. The article attached to this post shows what one of them did with it.
