Hello friends ❤️ I’ve told you before that I’m making an animated series about the lives of people who have relocated to Serbia. But today’s episode is about the Serbian people themselves, and I’m in awe of their unity. For the first time in my life, I witnessed democracy in action. Yesterday, the people won. Their voices were heard, and their hopes prevailed. And they celebrated like never before. It was such a powerful, moving experience that we just had to include it in our series. — Zoran! What’s happening? — The students have won. A new chapter in history is beginning.

The coolest thing is that people see themselves in these stories. Even cooler is that people are starting to fall in love with this series. I’m amazed by how art and animation can reach people emotionally through visual storytelling.

But the truth is, finding yourself alone in a country you barely know, with no longer being a tourist to fall back on, can be a truly terrifying experience.

Lately, I’ve been facing some criticism for using AI. But even here, a lot of painstaking work goes into the process — from writing the script to manual touch-ups, sound design, and video editing. Because even when AI is involved, it’s still about creating something. It’s still a creative process, just in a different form. AI is another tool, another kind of visual language we can use to express ourselves. ❤️
