ALT PHIAA integrates and regulates three departments. These are the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD), the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department (SH&ME), and the Health and Population Department (H&PD). Their records, complaints and enforcement come under one authority. The Office of AI Punjab, as joint core, and the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) support the shared platform. PHIAA coordinates with the Punjab Healthcare Commission. It also coordinates with drug-regulation and nursing-registration functions. Coordination means shared records and agreed referral routes. It does not mean a transfer of powers. The integrated record joins records from hospitals and clinics in P&SHD, SH&ME and H&PD. Each department keeps its own system. The integration layer links them to one patient identity, so a clinician sees the whole care history. The record is hosted in a Punjab public data centre, as set out in Section 17.
