Hi. We’re a band. We’ve been unimpressed by many things happening with X over the last few years so aren’t posting here. We’re on all the other platforms tho😘

A little ‘thank you’ to anyone who’s had a listen to our new single Waxwings over on Bandcamp (it’s not on streaming generally until next month). We appreciate you taking the time, and hope you liked it😘

This BBC article helps highlight some of the reasons why we can’t be active on X. See also Musk’s recent comments about the UK Prime Minister.

Hi. Due to the ongoing politicisation of this platform our account won’t be active for the foreseeable. If you’re interested we’ll be in all the other places you’d expect, mostly as ‘vernonsfuture’. See you there, or back here if it changes👋
Oh…& here’s another ace suspension😘

With the Spotify algorithm now massively favouring streams from an artist's profile page, here's another spin from the pages of indie acts we love. This album from @VernonsThe is indie rock at its finest. There's a killer live track on here too!

Simon VF went to see the marvellous Pandapocalypse at @LooseCannonBeer Abingdon last Thursday. He loved the sound - excellent original music👍😊

My latest single " Africa" drops today. It's an upbeat, melodic, guitar based instrumental, supported by an exciting percussion ensemble, pounding out those jungle beats! Take a listen, leave a comment. 🤓👊🎸 distrokid.com/hyperfollow/ad…
Just been to a preview screening of the new blur documentary To The End. I thought it was wonderful - emotional and insightful. What a band they are…❤️
