According to police reports, surveillance footage captured SIX individuals walking toward an apartment at approximately 7:35 PM, on October 31. At approximately 7:58 PM, someone wearing a hoodie and shorts was seen jumping out of a window. Then, just FIVE MINUTES later, at approximately 8:03 PM, Austin called his mother. He told her he had been SHOT and needed help. According to the police report, his mother initially believed he might have been joking because of comments he had made in the past. But when she finished working and couldn’t reach him, she became increasingly concerned. She eventually tracked his phone to an apparently abandoned apartment. And there, she discovered her 15-year-old son lying unresponsive on the floor. Police reportedly responded at approximately 9:51 AM. on November 1. Austin was pronounced dead at the scene. That’s nearly FOURTEEN HOURS between his reported phone call and the police response. Investigators reportedly recovered seven 9mm shell casings. There is also a possible motive that I find particularly disturbing. According to witness information, investigators were looking into whether the people involved wanted a handgun Austin had recently displayed on social media. On November 4, Albany police announced that FOUR individuals had been arrested and charged with murder. Three are teenagers. Jansquincey Donaldson, 15. Omari Marion, 15. Adarious Wallace, 16. And Detravion Parker, 22. Police reportedly have surveillance footage showing SIX individuals approaching that apartment. Four individuals have been arrested. Who were the other people?
