Hassan Jihad Ibn Kariem, the man who was flung from a Six Flags rollercoaster in Georgia, survived a car fire just a few weeks ago.
> Survived a car fire with his daughter.
> Survived cancer twice.
> Survived a difficult fight with Covid-19.
> Died after being flung from a Six Flags rollercoaster.
He was riding the Goliath rollercoaster with his son while his wife and daughter watched from below when he was thrown from the ride.
Absolutely devastating.

Responses that stop people from asking questions they shouldn’t (for any given reason from rudeness to stupidity to plain thoughtlessness and everything in between) bring joy to my soul. Equal opportunity support for those smart enough to shut down the noise.

The Hilton donated the ~2600 dinners that went unserved at WHCD. They freeze dried the steak and lobster for longer shelf life before giving them to 2 shelters for abused women and children. HUGE thank you to the staff that worked through the night under terrible circumstances.

The subject for the horrific shooting today that took the life of Charlie Kirk is now in custody. Thank you to the local and state authorities in Utah for your partnership with @fbi.
We will provide updates when able.

Great news for WIC families in Massachusetts!
For the first time, WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) participants can now use their benefits to order online through Walmart.
This means that over 125,000 people can now shop for WIC-approved foods from home for in-store pickup or home delivery from 48 Walmart locations across the state.
This new option:
• Makes access to healthy food easier
• Reduces barriers like lack of transportation, time, or language
• Creates a more convenient shopping experience
How does it work?
Just use the Walmart app or visit Walmart.com/wic to shop using your WIC benefits.
This project is part of a national initiative to modernize and improve the WIC shopping experience, and Massachusetts is one of the first states to make it happen.

I recently read about man who collects pictures of hitters who had hit walk-off home runs. He said that the reason he did this is because this is how he views us entering heaven.
Look at the faces of his teammates waiting to welcome him home. Look at their excitement. They can’t wait to celebrate with him.
Look at the fans. Arms raised, big smiles, maybe even hugs for a perfect stranger.
Perhaps this is your first holiday season without someone important who is now waiting for you in heaven. Maybe it’s just another one with that big hole in your heart and an empty seat at the table. Either way, I hope you can find encouragement in this picture, what it represented to the man who collected it, and find joy this year. #heaven #hope #joy #grief
