ALBUM REVIEW: Holding Absence — ‘Modern Life Is Lonely’ (9/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/holdin…
"I think Holding Absence has delivered an absolutely amazing record with ‘Modern Life Is Lonely’. They show that they can incorporate new elements into their top tier formula, and deliver both huge and emotionally gratifying tracks once again. It still cements the fact that they already feel like a modern scene staple, and that other bands could learn from them that genuine songwriting can never be beat."

ALBUM REVIEW: Mayday Parade — 'Sugar' (8.5/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/mayday…
"‘Sugar’ is my favorite of the three of Mayday Parade’s three-part album. They do such a great job mixing all their best eras across ten tracks, and they feel best to be playing in the summer especially. This band continues to do what they do best, and really show why they’re such veterans in the scene.'

ALBUM REVIEW: Boundaries — ‘Yearning: the unbeautiful after’ (8.5/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
🔗: calibertv.net/reviews/bounda…
"Boundaries continue to be one of the more exciting bands in heavy music, and ‘Yearning: the unbeautiful after’ is no exception to that. They expand upon their already crazy sound, and refine what’s already special about them here. And they deliver one of the best records of the year, and some of the wildest breakdowns and tracks you’ll hear all year."
I have so many feelings that I just can’t share with the world. I type things out and just delete it.
But man life is so fucking overwhelming sometimes

ALBUM REVIEW: Free Throw — 'Moments Before The Wind' (8.5/10)
✍️: @mat_abe182
⛓️: calibertv.net/reviews/free-t…
"Free Throw have really put out their best album since their debut, with ‘Moments Before the Wind’. It captures a lot of what people love about this band, but in a really refined and varietal way that makes them feel bigger. They’re here to stay yet again, and fans of the genre will welcome this record with open arms.
