I built a new data center in my house last weekend.
Don’t know why everyone complains about them. 10/10 would recommend.
I added a type-C port to this board in addition to the DC jack. Some users needed an option to power it using a power bank, so we thought why not.
Also notice the silkscreen trick for when you can’t label each component in a dense placement. So you put them on the side in the same arrangement. I have seen it bound by a silkscreen outline and the same on the text with a line connecting them for easy illustration.
I am still finalizing on layout referencing the mechanical design on whichever is easier to modify, while also considering ease of manufacture of the enclosure and repairability.
Especially given that we intend to 3D print the enclosure during this initial low volume production runs, layout, especially for ports and connectors have to be considered carefully.

Some e-paper displays we recently finished building for a client. Now ready for deployment. They are meant to show sensor data for some equipment in a hospital.
Aside from TFT screens, e-paper displays are proper efficient for extremely low -power applications where refresh rate is low or data doesn’t change too often.
We have built two projects this year for e-paper displays. Reach out if you have a low-power project needing it.
The schematic is done, the chip is chosen, the documentation has been read (several[100s] pages of datasheets)
.
.
.
Go to source them, turns out said chip is NRND (not recommended for new designs) and is at end of life. And since we might have to source several hundred of these chips for this solution, it is a no-go.
Back to design, schematic. Good thing is that the difference is not too much but still..fts
What exactly is going on in this country man?
Waziri anasema hii Ndio harusi Ya Kwanza Amelipia 😂😂😂 … Sasa Nimasaa Ya Waheshimiwa Kunipea 1 Million WHO SHOULD BE NEXT??? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
6th Nov Should be Made a Holiday Because its #TheBahatisBigDay 😎 Thank You Public Service CS Ruku for Getting #THEINVITE 🙏
QuePay can now be used to pay for time to use something. Think EV chargers, membership clubs with game rooms, billiards rooms, PlayStation joints, arcades etc.

Interestingly enough we have worked on the most display projects this year. Working on a product too.
OLED monitor prices set to fall further
"Prices for premium OLED monitors reached the $350 range in the first half of 2026 and are expected to approach $300 by 2027," said Omdia. Even before TCL entering to challenge LG Display's WOLED and Samsung Display's QD-OLED. Read👇🏼

This Mashujaa holiday, as we honor the great people who have been instrumental in our country, I am working on an update for the QuePay device for Pool Tables.
This is based on improvements we want to add and some issues we have noticed both on usability, failure points, user feedback and mass-production readiness.
For devices like these where there are several users who interact with them (physically) everyday, rigidity and an ability to withstand abuse have to be factored in. Power (given that sometimes it runs on backup battery) and connectivity (since it is also used in rural areas where mobile network is not as reliable) also become key factors to consider both in firmware and the hardware design.
