🚨BREAKING: The Republican Women’s Caucus Fund has been unmasked as the force behind the fake Texas Transgender Student Union (TTSU). This Wyoming LLC, formed in September, flooded as many as 3 million Texas mailboxes and phones with texts and brochures just as early voting began for the midterms.
Posing as a trans advocacy outfit, the materials—addressed to the children of registered voters—coached minors on seeking gender-affirming care even against parents’ wishes, pursuing emancipation, going out-of-state for hormones or surgery, and finding a “found family.” They copied branding from the real Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT) and used a near-identical address.
Legal filings named the Republican Women’s Caucus and “John Braun”—the name of a Washington state senator whose campaign treasurer, Paul Kilgore, also handles finances for the RWC Fund and PACs supporting Ken Paxton’s Senate bid against Democrat James Talarico. TTSU’s lawyer is former Paxton assistant AG Chris Hilton.
TENT sued, claiming harassment, threats, and operational harm. Judge Jan Soifer ordered disclosure, rejecting free-speech secrecy claims.
So, a Republican-linked group, with financial ties to Paxton-supporting PACs, mass-produced and distributed materials that impersonated a transgender student resource guide. In other words, the people who routinely accuse the transgender community of “indoctrinating” or targeting children, themselves produced and mailed the very content designed to look like that targeting—so parents would see it and react.
Every Republican accusation is a confession.

Binance has committed its own balance sheet to making customers whole. I expect it to deliver. Our industry will learn from this incident, strengthen security, and emerge stronger and more resilient.
Binance has begun recovering affected assets for users and continues to work with law enforcement, issuers, blockchain intelligence firms and industry partners to trace, freeze and recover additional funds.
The company has already publicly committed to cover losses through company funds in the prior announcement.
Binance has already reserved over $6.34B of company funds to cover this incident. $5B of these funds are already held in the exact token assets that were impacted. We are completing the purchase of the remaining amount by buying token assets through market channels and OTC channels. We are doing this to match the format of the remaining token assets and address any asset shortfalls. This step can take longer because some tokens may have low liquidity and OTC settlement also takes time. We will share more progress as soon as we can.
These figures do not include frozen or protected assets, which remain subject to ongoing recovery and verification. Currently, $3bn has been frozen, with thanks to our industry partners. We are working with partners and law enforcement to recover the frozen assets. We will continue to use company resources to cover confirmed shortfall and will provide further verified updates as recovery efforts progress. Ultimately, all user funds will be verified publicly through our Proof of Reserves.
We will weather this storm. Thank you for the support.

#Bitcoin broke down, instead of up and it crashed to $76,000.
In all fairness, with this drop to $76,000 while the largest #Crypto hack ever, I'm positively surprised with the resilience of the underlying asset.
If we look at it from a technical standpoint, I mentioned that sweeping those lows could accelerate price action.
I marked $78,400 and if that wasn't going to hold, it very likely cascades down a lot as there were no levels in between to $75,000.
Surely, this event had enough power of crashing down the price in hours, which we've been seeing here.
Overall, bearish flip at $78,000 and probably some time to be played out before markets are going back to neutral.
Given that this hack has taken place, I'm still on the long side.
If Bitcoin drops back to $75,000-76,000 areas, I think that we're seeing a great opportunity of longing this asset back towards the range highs (if indices don't crash down).
This has been an hack within an exchange, has nothing to do with the underlying asset.

The UAE Public Prosecution has now dismissed the complaint.
I recently travelled to the UAE to deal with the matter personally and bring it to a conclusion, as it needed to be resolved before other matters could move forward.
I was confident in my/our position from the outset. From the time I personally attended to deal with the matter, it took approximately two weeks for the case to be closed.
In June, the existence of this complaint was publicly announced as a "legal update," together with statements about an ongoing investigation. So it is only appropriate that the outcome is public too.
Anyone can file a complaint. There is an important difference between filing a complaint, announcing an investigation and actually proving an allegation. They are not the same thing. A social media post is not a judgment.
This experience has reinforced something that I think is important.
Public allegations can travel extremely quickly. Reputational damage can occur long before the underlying facts have been properly examined by the competent authorities and once a narrative is placed into the public domain, the consequences for an individual, a company and the people around them can be significant.
Serious allegations should ultimately stand or fall on evidence and proper legal process. The important point is the outcome - The complaint has been dismissed and the matter is now closed.
I am glad to finally put this behind me and move forward!
