This is why community consultation is so important:
We've had conversations with and input from at least 1000 people in our electorate.
The topic of abortion has not been mentioned once.
The topic of politicians doing a bad job has been mentioned hundreds of times.
Coalition senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price wants abortion on the national agenda, declaring pregnancies ended after the first trimester are immoral and arguing late-stage abortions were akin to infanticide.
