[10:30 PM] Storms will continue for another hour or two but no severe weather is expected. Much drier air moves in over the next few days with sunshine Thursday and Friday.

A *SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING* is in effect for parts of Bayfield, Ashland, Sawyer County until Oct 28 8:00PM CDT. Possible impacts include large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain. Get to a safe place now if you're in the warned area.

A line of heavy rain and thunder is moving into western Wisconsin and will be arriving late this evening. The chance of severe weather in our area is low but will remain a possibility.

Warmer air arrives tomorrow brining the potential for thunderstorm development Wednesday night. Thankfully severe weather is not expected.

[10:15 PM] Light rain and drizzle continues north tonight with more scattered light rain possible at times on Tuesday.

Mild temperatures continue for the rest of the week with 50s for low temperatures tonight and 70s in the forecast for Saturday again.

Expect some continued cool weather. Rain will stick around tonight, gradually clearing through Friday morning. Friday is chilly and windy (Gusts 30mph+) and while Saturday will be seasonal, temperatures may begin in the 20s Saturday morning.

[7:10 PM] Another round of scattered light rain is arriving tonight for some. Unlike yesterday though the chance of thunderstorms is minimal.

Today was quite the strange mid October day with a record breaking 84 degree high temperature as well as scattered thunderstorms this afternoon.

[5:00 PM] Scattered storms are forming across the state as a cold front approaches tonight. Severe weather is not likely but you may hear rumbles of thunder. We have the latest on News 9 at 5 & 6.
