Saw this photo on Facebook of Scotland schoolboys before they played England in 1966. Can you recognise a future Newcastle player in the lineup?

If you like your local none league football this is well worth a read bbc.co.uk/sport/football/art…
Whitley Bay: The part-timers who won a record three Wembley finals in a row

Whitley Bay: The part-timers who won a record three Wembley finals in a row

You probably knew Pep Guardiola's Manchester City won four League Cups on the bounce between 2018 and 2021 – but another side did the silverware hat-trick first.

Good 12 mile walk this morning, the tide was right out and perfect for at least one fisherman collecting peelers

Over the years as a stadium tour guide, we must have taken this photograph with the club crest on the carpet and Newcastle United on the stand thousands of times for visitors. Those photos are now part of our history after a refurbishment ensures no one walks over the crest.

I would love to go back in time and tell the lads in the Leazes “in less than 50 years time, part of the Leazes will be advertised as a relaxed social atmosphere”

18:30 to 19:55 yet more ranting and moaning because Man United didn’t get a decision. 19:55 “quick ad break then we go over to Elland Road”

The rooftop tours at St James’ have some great stories from Brian and the team. This morning’s visitors got an extra bonus!

Watching Juve v Milan for Woltermade’s debut. Milan scored and TV cameras immediately show a woman holding a bag on the sideline. The ball is immediately placed in the bag and you can now bid on a game scored ball 🤷🏻‍♂️
