Something about losing to the pistons just triggers ALL the coping mechanisms.
It’s so funny.

The opinion stuff be trash. When Gil talks actual basketball, he’s gold.
Gilbert Arenas says it's essential that the Spurs keep De'Aaron Fox because of how he is able to open up the floor for everyone. Because watching Victor Wembanyama on offense is hard since he doesn't have a go-to move to get a basket. At 7'6", he is trying to play like he is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Furthermore, those other guards like Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle aren't going to get him the ball because they are 1-on-1 isolation players

The Detroit Pistons have been 1st in the East since November 7, 2025.
No was has overtaken them for nearly one full calendar year in the regular season standings.
This is maybe the realest shit I’ve ever seen a former player say.
Instantly became one of my favorite former players now lol
Jim Jackson compares today’s game to the era he played in and breaks down how basketball has evolved.

just wait til the Pistons play a good team (like the Celtics, Heat, or 76ers) then their stupid fanbase will see and understand they’re actually not that good
Malik Beasley was what, one shot behind Anthony Edwards for the three-point title two seasons ago? Duncan could do the same. His release is so fucking quick

Pistons / 76ers thoughts:
- John Collins is every embodiment of Detroit basketball. Having him as a consistent two-way punch is just going to keep playing dividends
- Both teams didnt have their core in No Ausar/Duren or VJ/Embiid — in these situations love to see new sets and game plans arise from JB and Nick Nurse and allows other players to get opportunities
- Ebuka Okorie (2 Min/ 2PTS off getting to the line) + Adem Bona, one of my favorite young backup centers. Great rim runner and lob threat. Will give credit on his poster on John Collins. People forget Bona is capable of momentum changing plays
- Bball Paul, Duncan, Daniss were vital down the stretch. There’s a different demeanor when we have players out already this year. Just going to work and making big shots. Following missed shots for extra opportunities, always at the glass, and these 3 confidence is just shining through
- We have to live in the moment with Ron Holland, not sure if the offensive will get there. But there’s no denying his impact everywhere else. Did you see that one see poss where he mirrored Jaylen Brown to a T for the block?? 9 Reb 4 ast 2 Blk 1 Stl. W Ron
-76ers shot 7/27 from 3, 37 reb compared to the Pistons having nearly 20 more reb than them (54). Pistons 41.2% from 3. winning the rebound battle and shooting like that will be v hard to beat always
- CADE! 26/8/8/2/2.
Pistons are 3-0 and remain undefeated

Pistons came back from 20 points and beat the Celtics on opening day, then washed the Miami Heat and just beat the Sixers
I'm moved
The Detroit Pistons just beat the Philadelphia 76ers without Ausar Thompson and Jalen Duren by 13 points.
The Sixers couldn’t crack 95 points.
Detroit shot 41% from three.
They dominated the glass.
IDK, seems to be a good team to me with good players, but what do I know!

Death Row co-founder Dick Griffey once called the D.O.C. "probably the single most influential person in gangsta rap."
I spoke to the West Coast legend about growing up in West Dallas, writing "We Want Eazy" in 20 minutes, the crash that stole his voice, the secret origins of Death Row, piecing together "Nuthin' but a 'G' Thang" with Snoop, trading insults with ’Pac in Atlanta, and receiving a Hip Hop Grandmaster Award this weekend from the Paid in Full Foundation.
