A former BioWare employee claims the studio was asked to remove a flag from a presentation for the canceled Mass Effect Universe project because it looked too much like the LGBTQIA+ flag.
The employee said the new management wasn’t convinced by the project:
“I think the video proposals we presented to the new management weren’t convincing.”
They also said BioWare being known for inclusive storytelling “didn’t help to dispel the skepticism.”
One specific example involved a flag in a presentation video. The team was asked to remove it because it was:
“looking too much like the LGBTQIA+ flag”
The reason given was reportedly:
“not to offend.”

Flick is shaking things up at Barcelona after the PSG game.
According to Mundo Deportivo (MD), the defeat to PSG has forced Flick to rethink 3 things:
- He is seriously considering dropping the No. 10 role in big games, instead relying on a midfield trio of Rodri, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong.
- João Cancelo is under the radar until El Clásico because of his defensive errors. If he continues at the same level, Flick will use him only in La Liga and rely on Eric García and Espart in the Champions League.
- Flick has lost faith in Gerard Martín and plans to tell the board that signing a left-footed centre-back who can play at left-back is a priority for January.
