How to Replace Crysencio Summerville 🧵
The Dutch winger was one thing above everything else: direct. A player who could beat a man, win a foul, and get West Ham from A to B.
In the Championship, all of that matters.

The people of Brazil proved it's possible to beat the techno-fascist algorithm of hate and death. We are connecting and building networks of solidarity across borders. They wanted us isolated, but we found each other. We embrace you all. Let's keep moving forward together!
Well, that was a fun 54 minutes of allowing myself to get excited about the appointment of a front-footed, aggressive, entertaining head coach.

This is an incredibly significant mobilisation across 110 ports in 22 countries. Organisers estimate 52,000 containers will remain idle, holding $2.8 billion worth of cargo. The largest coordinated port action ever held, grinding the global arms trade to a halt.

I see some of you on my timeline. You have to be an absolute brain dead moron to think these protests are happening because of “migration” or “islamists”.
Duped by the your billionaire rulers and their protectors yet again to misidentify class struggle as identity politics.
the collab of all collabs. proud to see this one come to life. can't wait for tomorrow night. this is suicide prevention.
Just clocked that Marink Reedijk has taken over at Hibs during the international break. Someone I spoke about a lot in the summer. We will be watching.
For anyone interested, I found this interview on @ScoutUnderrated a fascinating listen. Recorded before he coached SK Beveren to an undefeated season in Belgium's second tier, as well.

Incredibly brave and principled from a young player. More of a back bone than any leader in that dressing room.
Solidarity is a verb!!
It has been confirmed that Gavin Bazunu has withdrawn from the Republic of Ireland squad after a "significant majority" of players voted to fulfil tomorrow's nights UEFA Nations League game with Israel.

Our friends at @AnalyticsUtd_ shared insight into our new winger Edvin Austbø.
"High levels of success on both dribbles and crosses, to be joined by 81.9% completion of all passes (top 21%) and 52% success in all duels (top amongst wingers in Norway)."

I'm devastated for the family and friends of Jason Arday.
He faced an unacceptable public hounding and campaign of abuse. I know many Londoners will be angry and upset this evening.
Jason Arday was the victim of a pernicious public shaming that other people in his position simply wouldn’t have faced.
His death was a tragedy, but once again it should be a wake up call for all of us.
I'm seeing Edvin Austbø to West Ham links. That makes me happy. Very dribbly boy that can create separation from a standing start and create for teammates. One of our (@AnalyticsUtd_) LW recommendations back in January. You can still watch that analysis on Patreon.
