We can't celebrate like we usually do this year. Be well, be safe, find some joy, and we'll see you soon! Here's a little virtual NYE party to hold you over. youtube.com/playlist?list=PL…
New WPO track and video drops tomorrow! "It's time we rise/We're gonna make shit right!" Let's go!!! #AmerikatheGrave
What can we do? In lieu of live shows, we can at least offer you some songs to dance to at home. Fortunately we finished recording one song, Larry Goldfinger's "Izagarica," a few days before the hunkering down began. We've just released it on Bandcamp:

Like many workers, members of WPO have lost months of paid gigs. All proceeds from sales of "Izagarica" will go to those WPO members for whom gigs are their sole source of income. "Iza" will be on the streaming sites on 5/12, but you can support with a purchase on Bandcamp today.
We're also working out a video for the song and you can be a part of it - just film yourself dancing at home and send your clip to [email protected], preferably via WeTransfer although email is OK, too.
Sending you virtual hugs and held hands,
WPO
Hello friends,
We miss making you dance like crazy - like crazy. There will be block parties, impromptu parades, Philly Balkan Fest, weddings, protests, and backyard dance parties again, and WPO will be there. But in the meantime...
Announcement is coming tomorrow! Until then, push play on this and let loose.
