Just one last cigarette? Make sure you #PutItOutRightOut before you go to bed. Never smoke in bed. #FireKills

Smoke alarms are inexpensive, simple to install and one of the most important safety devices any home can have. If your home isn’t equipped with them yet, now is the perfect time to take action and keep your household protected.
Fitting a smoke alarm could save your life. They are available to buy from local hardware retailers and are easy to install.

Are you attending an event for VE Day? 🇬🇧 Make sure you and your family take extra care around bonfires and beacons. Open fires must be lit in safe spaces away from flammable materials and buildings. 🔥

The water may look inviting but even on a warm day the water can be cold. It doesn’t matter if you’re a strong swimmer. Jumping into the water to cool off can lead to cold water shock, which can result in drowning. orlo.uk/SKeKv #BeWaterAware
