2026 hasn’t been a good year for farming, but hopefully next year will be better! Our Oilseed Rape is getting away nicely in this warm weather but hoping for rain on Wednesday. The wheat is also up #harvest2027 #farming #norfolk

Drilling for #harvest27 is over. The earliest finish we’ve seen here for quite a few years. 2026 has been bizarre so far. Fingers crossed we’ll get some rain soon and the government turns SFI into a sensible, properly funded scheme #farming #norfolk #backbritishfarming

A busy time with @nfueast this week. A great farm walk at Charltons strawberry farm and an inspiring evening with @OxonJames for young members. Thanks to everyone that made it all happen 👏🏻
Thanks for coming to speak to us @OxonJames Everyone left feeling very inspired 👍 @NFUtweets @nfueast #farming Big thanks to @GoatShedNorfolk for hosting 👏🏻
Brilliant evening talking with young @NFUtweets members here in Norfolk.
We may be facing challenges as an industry but we’ll be okay, because there’s a generation of bright, savvy, passionate, committed young farmers out there who’ll be the futire leaders of our sector.
Our wild bird mix on light land really enjoyed last week’s rain. Finally some optimism #farming #conservation #SFI
Belepi winter wheat on heavy land is looking surprisingly good in south Norfolk. This was full of blackgrass a few years ago. Making progress! #harvest2026 #farming #directdrilling

Great to give a talk with @WTSarge at the @farmbusiness event at the NEC on how farmers can use @getnoan to build their diversified businesses with AI. Farmers are the ultimate entrepreneurs & every one I spoke to was running multiple companies at once. AI can give them superpowers and that's exactly why we're focussed on helping them grow their businesses.
A farmer said to me that people don't realize their food is subsidized by two things - grants & farmers running second businesses to keep the farm afloat. It's crazy really, but true & if you've watched @JeremyClarkson farm you'll see it - at the same time the supermarkets are making record profits. It's a tough time for one of the vital industries globally & we're here to try and help where we can, no farmer should also have to be a specialist in business strategy, content creation, marketing, HR - but that's where @getnoan can help with AI filling a vital need.

It was good to speak to @AnnaJonesSky on @SkyNews last night about the #Budget and the damage it will do to British agriculture. Changes to APR could wipe out many family farms. We urgently need a rethink #farming @NFUtweets
