📍 At the VI Turespaña Convention in Zaragoza, WTTC President & CEO Gloria Guevara (@GGuevaraM) highlighted Spain’s global leadership in Travel & Tourism.
The sector is set to contribute more than €269BN to Spain’s economy in 2026, with forecast growth of 4.1%, ahead of Europe (3.1%) and the global average (2.5%).
Sustaining this momentum will rely on four priorities: sustainability, balanced destination management, innovation and AI, and talent development.
🏆 Earlier this month, WTTC presented Minister Jordi Hereu (@jordihereub) with the WTTC Global Champion Award at our 26th Global Summit in Malta, recognising his leadership in strengthening Spain’s tourism competitiveness.
