I still don’t think the Nemesis System has been entirely scrapped out of the game. It was probably reworked to be more classically linear. The 2021 trailer alluded to her befriending foes, but recent concept art leans towards a linear experience. Idk though

According to Bloomberg, an initial version of the Wonder Woman game tried reimagining the Nemesis system with Diana befriending enemies, but that idea has since been tossed out in favor of a more traditional action-adventure game.
